Monthly Doctrine Classes

Our doctrine classes meet monthly on Saturday mornings. Through doctrine, God helps us understand how we have acted in sin and how he has responded in grace. We are not saved by the doctrine, but by the historical things God has willingly and graciously done on our behalf. Doctrine explains this to us so we can admit our need's, reach out for God’s help, and move forward in a new and better way. It's a beautiful way to know ourselves better, while growing in our relationship with God.

To register, use the GPS registration form at the top of the page and select "University doctrine class" as your chapter.

Recollection:

Recollection is a sacred pause, inviting us to detach from the busyness of our daily lives. It offers us an opportunity to reflect, recharge, and deepen our connection with God. In these moments of retreat, we engage in prayer, meditation, and spiritual teachings to renew our faith and nurture our souls. It's a time to rediscover the essence of love, learning how to extend compassion, kindness, and empathy toward others. Join us on this transformative journey of recollection, where we find solace, wisdom, and inspiration to live more fully and love more deeply.

Recollection runs from 10:00AM to 12:00PM!

On the first Saturday of the month from 4:30PM-6:30PM a group of volunteers from Ashlar will attend to the needs of the community at a local soup kitchen. Those attending our doctrine classes or recollection on these dates are welcome to spend the day at the centre studying or working before volunteering.
